The guys were out in force Sunday morning arriving to a breakfast feast cooked up by Kevin Paget. Eggs, sausage, hash browns done up in wraps that rivalled a Greco spread.
Matt Wasik was on coffee patrol, note Matt does not like strong coffee and cups were optional.
Ron Watson provided dignity and decorum that seems to be otherwise sadly lacking at this event.
The new #5 Tee was open and waiting for all victims. After a perusal of the score card submitted after the round it is clear that this hole may not be a favourite of many unless your lucky number is 8.
Cheers and Beers at #9 as always, not a hole for the faint of heart. Always fun to see a new guy’s reaction. Welcome to Sunday morning Dominic.
- George Corneil was all smiles as he managed to drive the green and hole his put for an apparent eagle on #9. Unfortunately the rules committee informed George that his first tee shot in the woods did count so his score was in fact a 4 (par).
- Mark Grebenc shot a rare net 29 (39 gross). He was so overjoyed to break 40 that he was seen high fiving the gallery. Some advice though Mark… Enjoy it as you won’t likely see that number in a long time again!
