John Willmott was the big Senior Tour point winner today with a low gross of 39, a low net of 29, as well as closest to the pin honours with his tee shot on # 9. The only negative of the day for John was being water gunned on the sixth hole by the rules official for an illegal red staked penalty area ball drop. He forgot the new rule of dropping the ball at knee height. Don Fernald was closest to the pin on # 2 and Glen Swire had closest to the pin with his second shot on # 7. No birdies were registered today but there were a total of 20 pars made including a par 4 on the first hole by Roy Skelton.
