Dear Members:

As you may be aware the Province of Ontario has instituted additional restrictions to the existing Stay at Home Order. The order took effect today, Saturday April 17, 2021, and will continue through to May 20, 2021.  These changes impact a number of areas within our community.

Unfortunately, this means that all indoor and outdoor facilities are now closed including:  the golf course, pickleball courts, tennis courts, the beach, and playground equipment.  The hall will continue to remain closed and the pavilion and beach closed to all gatherings.

No indoor or outside gatherings are permitted except within members of the same household (or one person who lives alone outside the household).  Members may still access the golf course to walk (with members of their household) or walk pets.

Construction projects already underway may continue.  No new projects may be started.

The Province is taking the enforcement of this order very seriously.  Enforcement officers have been patrolling Burlington, including Cedar Springs.  Therefore, assume officers will continue to monitor our community on an ongoing basis.

We understand that these are difficult times but ask that everyone do their part to keep our community safe today so that we may be able to enjoy our facilities in the future.

For additional information, please see the Province of Ontario press release of April 16, 2021 (Press Release).
